YAY I AM ON THE FRONT PAGE OF CRACKED.
On a related note: last night I said to myself: "Self, I feel like reading. I think I will read this informative book on the influence of the Babylonian exile on Jewish creation myths." Of course, I then put aside the book and started reading Midnight Sun instead.
What kept it amusing for the 50 pages I got through was a) Jasper and b) keeping a mental tally of every time Stephenie Meyer uses the word 'chagrin'.
CURRENT CHAGRIN COUNT: 3

YAYYYYYY!!!!
Chagrin is not so great of a word that she should be using it THAT MUCH.
She's been using it excessively all through the series. You'd think that by book five one of her editors would have sent her a quiet anonymous note.
One would think, but perhaps the editors were too scared of her sacrificing them on her creepy sacrificial altar.
maybe all of her editors just quit after a while, mumbling incoherently about sparkles and chagrin and dazzling topaz.
Let's move this talk to an actual Twilight post.

An impy named Kitty. More of her stuff is here:

And I know she'd love to be referenced on cracked so, you know...
Also, review of the movie in case you're bored.

And I'll admit that twilight has inspired me to do my own writing. You can follow it here.
