So, a while back I promised violettavalery a bi-monthly hetero man post. Then I forgot about it for like, three months. But I will do it now to make up for the epic amounts of fail that constituted most of today. So, I bring you...

So I'm watching this movie because I'm sick and bored and it has the hot dad from Supernatural in it. And I get about half an hour in before realizing 'Holy crap, this is softcore porn.'

Someone I know once mentioned watching the movie for the same reason, and she said that it was awful, but did not mention that it was softcore porn. And you'd think something like that would be obvious right from the beginning, but I've never actually sat down and watched softcore porn long enough to recognize it. To me, softcore porn is the thing you watch for thirty seconds when flipping channels, long enough to realize 'Wait, this is softcore porn' and then switch over to King of the Hill. I had no idea what it really looked like.

 And then once I realized I felt pretty bad, because I'd been judging the dialogue/sets/etc as if it was an actual movie, and thinking "WTF? This woman is going undercover in a high class brothel? No way would they employ someone like that without hassling her for an STD check. What's with the acting? Why aren't there any outdoor scenes? DEAR GOD WHY ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE DOING IT."

Anyway, now I've seen my first softcore porn movie! My favourite part was the music.

(PS, film people, can you please put a 'This Is Softcore Porn' label or something on the front cover or on the IMDB page. It's kind of embarrassing when you start watching these things with your brother in the next room.)
